Car Driven Into Teens Injures 3 in Skerries Brawl

Skerries, North Dublin – Three teenagers are in hospital tonight after a car was deliberately driven into a group of young people during a violent brawl at Skerries Harbour on Saturday night.

Gardaí were called to Harbour Road around 9:30pm following reports of a large gathering of youths that quickly turned nasty. What started as a confrontation exploded into a full-on melee, with African youths at the centre of the disorder according to multiple eyewitness videos circulating online.

Locals describe how a group of African youths set upon an Irish teenager before the situation descended into chaos. Punches were thrown, lads were knocked to the ground, and in the middle of it all, a white car – reportedly a BMW 5 Series with tinted windows – ploughed straight into the crowd not once but several times.

Two girls and one boy, all teenagers, were struck and taken to Beaumont Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The car didn't stop – it sped off after the attack.
